NDIS Support Coordination - FBA Care
Navigating the NDIS can be complex. At FBA Care, our expert coordinators simplify this process. Not only do they help you understand your NDIS plan, but they also assist in connecting you with the best resources and services that meet your unique needs.
Understanding Support Coordination Levels at FBA Care:
A Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in helping NDIS participants navigate and implement their NDIS plans to achieve their goals. Depending on the participant’s situation and needs, the NDIS may include different levels of support coordination in the funding plan.
At FBA Care, we offer both Level 2 Coordination of Support and Level 3 Specialist Support Coordination services. We understand that it can be challenging to distinguish between these levels of support, so we’ve provided a clear explanation to help you determine which option is right for you.
Level 2 Coordination of Support
Level 2 Coordination of Support is designed to assist participants in understanding and implementing their NDIS plan. This service includes educating participants about NDIS policies and procedures, developing a budget plan in collaboration with the participant, and establishing connections with relevant supports and services. At FBA Care, we uphold the NDIS standards by ensuring participants have choice and control over who delivers their supports and how those supports are provided.
Our Level 2 Coordinators also help participants maintain relationships with service providers and monitor their NDIS budgets, ensuring the continuity of care and support. They regularly report to the NDIA and assist participants in preparing for any NDIS reviews. If unforeseen events occur during the plan period, which may cause a participant’s goals and needs to change, a Support Coordinator will guide the participant through the process of updating their NDIS plan. This may include facilitating necessary assessments, gathering essential documentation, and applying to the NDIA for a review.
Here’s what you can expect from our Level 2 Support Coordination:
- Personalised Assistance: We work closely with you to identify your goals and connect you with the right services to achieve them.
- Ongoing Support: Our coordinators help you navigate your NDIS plan, ensuring you understand your options and can make informed decisions about your care and support.
- Service Provider Connection: We assist you in finding and connecting with the best service providers to meet your needs, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.
- Monitoring and Review: We continuously monitor your progress and the effectiveness of your plan, making adjustments as needed to ensure your goals are being met.
Level 3 Support Coordination:
Level 3 Specialist Support Coordination focuses on addressing complex barriers that might hinder the consistency of services. Our Specialist Coordinators work closely with your support team to identify and address these barriers, review available resources, set up and implement action plans, and regularly review outcomes. In crisis situations, Specialist Support Coordinators provide immediate responses, including planning, prevention, mitigation, and intervention, to maintain the participant’s safety.
This high-level support involves coordinating a care team to maximise collaboration between the NDIA, government departments, NDIS-funded supports, allied health professionals, and informal support networks. Specialist Support Coordination is provided by qualified and trained professionals. At FBA Care, all our Support Coordinators hold qualifications in community services, social work, health science, psychology, or other relevant disciplines. With our high recruitment standards and well-developed in-house training, FBA Care is equipped to deliver industry-leading services to support participants on their NDIS journey.
Here’s how our Level 3 Support Coordination stands out:

Do You Need Level 3 Support Coordination?
You may require a Level 3 Coordinator if you are in a crisis situation needing intensive and timely intervention, are facing complex circumstances that require a cross-system response, or have a large care team but are struggling to make progress.
If you believe you should be funded for Level 3 support, discuss this with your Support Coordinator, Local Area Coordinator, or the NDIA.
FBA Care has immediate capacity for both Level 2 and Level 3 support coordination across Australia.
