Our Respite service at FBA Care provides temporary accommodation with 24 hour support to individuals with disabilities, as well as their families and caregivers. We understand that carers may experience burnout from time to time, and our Respite service is aimed at providing a small break for caregivers while ensuring that participants receive the support and care they need.
Our service includes access to several fully furnished and comfortable homes, which are designed to accommodate the needs of our participants. Our homes are staffed by our team of experienced and dedicated Support Workers who are available 24 hours a day to provide high-quality care and support. Our Support Workers are trained to provide personal care, housekeeping, meal preparation, and community access, among other services, to ensure that our participants have everything they need during their stay. We understand that every individual has unique needs and preferences, and we work with the participants and their families to develop a care plan that meets their specific needs and follows their daily routines during their stay.

Since 2020 Lambros has been receiving Support Coordination, Plan Management and Service Delivery with FBA Care. Lambros is pleased that FBA Care is a “one stop shop” and he can access all his NDIS needs from one provider. Weekly Lambros has 2 regular support workers, Claudio and Rachael who come out to help him with daily living activities and accessing the community. Lambros states that he has a great relationship with both his support workers and that not only are they helpful and supportive, but his main priority, he can have a laugh with them!

End of 2021 Cory was assessed by the NDIS and his plan was later approved. However, every organisations he contacted for supports and services they did not respond to his enquiries. Until one of the rehab centers recommended FBA Care to him, he immediately received a call from Mohammed from FBA Care. Instantly the support services were implemented. Mohammed has been very attentive, patient and kind and most importantly provided immediate supports and services. Katherine currently is his Support Coordinator and he has been receiving support from Lucy – SW in his daily living activities. Ultimately, Cory is impressed with FBA Care where he can find the supports that come with compassionate, empathy which changed the way he looks at accepting supports as he used to be very independent.
